Apologies for the delay. I was out camping this weekend.

Apologies for the brief delay. I've been settling in my summer job the past week and have not had nearly as much time as I did during my week at home. This is a whimsical little application that I came up with last week. While it would definitely be useful to many students here at MIT, I doubt I will ever actually implement it.

A week is a long time to contemplate railings. Here's what I have so far.

This blog will be a blog of ideas. Each week, I will ponder a different word (or perhaps phrase) and record my ideas in my Moleskine. At the end of the week, I will scan the resulting pages and post them here, along with any additional commentary. The word(s) of the week(s) are initially random, but they could end up relating to each other as I go along. For those interested, I may also occasionally post other pages from my Moleskine unrelated to this project. All scans will also be posted on my Flickr account.

This blog will record how I think. I hope to use it as a way of generating ideas for future projects. I also hope that it encourages me to write and draw more, something I neglect too often during the school year. But most of all, I hope to entice and entertain you. Comments are always appreciated.

As suggested by my friend Todd, the first word will be railing.
