Graduate Program: Admissions
Student Pool
Students may enter the program with degrees in a variety
of disciplines, including humanities and liberal arts and
sciences, computer science, journalism, economics, and management.
We actively seek a mix of students from different backgrounds
and with different career objectives. We also anticipate
that many of our students will already have professional
experience in media-related fields, returning to an academic
setting to 'retool' so they may understand better the complexities
of contemporary media culture. We are especially interested
in students who combine multiple skills: for example, mixing
computer programming experience with an interest in the
humanities.
