Major Events:

Characters represented by players at this run: Cailin, Ilk, Neville and Osric.

Planning Continues In Suhuy's Ways

Ilk invites Osric into the briefing in Suhuy's ways.

Ilk tells Verra about the people worshiping blue crystals in booby-trapped shadows connected to a temple formerly dedicated to the white-statue-enemy.

Ilk warns Cailin about the dangers of fooling around with the grey spheres and marbles. All of reality could have be destroyed.

Caelin labored to explain to Ilk that his experimentation with marbles dealt only with the lesser effects, using them as capture devices for pests and such - not unmaking them, which was likely to have dire consequences.

Osric says that we need to come up with a cure for the shifter virus and a defense against it.

Ilk brings up the point of Mikail. Osric recognizes the name. Cailin tells Jenoir about the shadow-wide spell hooked on his name.

Ilk and Osric talk about the pedestals and the rifts.

Andron says that he believes that she [Gwen] took advantage of the pedestals, rather than creating them... he had seen them before she existed.

There are redheads that are unaccounted for.

[The Jesby impostor was in Clarissa's files was the fish-goddess's daughter]

Ilk demonstrates his anti-Mikail spells for the mages present. Nobody sniggers.

Osric - "So, what happened to you?"
Cailin - "Poisoned. On so many levels."
Ilk - "Apparently, snuggling with the Head of the ex-Poisoners' Guild is a bad idea."
Osric - "Were you having fun while you were doing it?"

Ilk mentions Mikail's ties to Darkover, and that place's ties to Morganti weaponry.

Osric asks Jean for a report on the location of the impostors. He places a request for constant updates.

Ilk asks Verra about acquiring Sethra's information on Mikail. A conflict of interest is brought up, and Verra determines that perhaps Sethra should be placed out of the way for the time being.

[Jean is instructed to bring Sethra to Vanir's Wrath to run things there in Verra's absence]

Cailin asks Ilk if Mikail is a god. He responds that all redheads are gods -- it's a heredity thing, and looks at Cailin. Cailin refuses to notice.

Osric asks about the G-person's lab. Pride's Folly or Darkover? The lab. Osric asks about the state of the lab. Not cleaned up at all, according to what Ilk has heard from Jean and Calla. It was given to Neville by a former King of Chaos, and he has failed to clean it up. It is being filled by new enemy troops, and Neville has lost access to the power source there.

Osric - "How are troops getting in there now?"
Ilk - "The same way that they got in before."
Osric - "How is that?"
Ilk - "I don't know."

Osric asks why that source hasn't been shut down yet.

Jenoir states, "I believe that Neville is in charge of it."

Osric discovers that the group is in Suhuy's ways, and wonders if the Neville should be invited here or not to report. The comfort of a member of his council is considered reason to leave Neville outside. Osric has Jean relay questions to Neville.

A question is posed: Why hasn't Neville been dealing with his responsibilities in Pride's Folly?

The response: Too many high-priority interrupts, and lack of access to Auricle, who knows about computers.

Osric realizes that he knows someone who knows about computers, and has Johnny placed at Neville's disposal. Osric orders Neville to shut down the computer -- someone is using it as a power source. Neville realizes that he, too, is a King and doesn't have to listen to this, but doesn't point it out for the time being.

Jean says Mikail's name again. There is a slight flicker of heat everywhere that there is a Jean.

Osric hangs a spell using Fringe energy, keyed to Mikail's name, to raise his shields if someone nearby says Mikail's name. Jenoir looks at the spell, and recommends that Cailin hang a similar spell on Laetatio.

Osric states that someone should have those who were in the Healers' Guild checked for compromise.

Cailin tries to figure out how to have House Moonlight and those within checked to see if they have been compromised. He passes notes via Jean to formerly-undead Cailin.

More characteristics of Mikail are mentioned: possible time manipulation, god-head, and possession of Dalkontyr, which can travel through the Sea of Chance.

Ilk asks for a good staging point for this event.

Osric suggests Amber. Cailin states that Amber might not be up to it just yet. Ilk considers it an unlikely place for Mikail to nuke, and therefore a good staging ground.

Verra stops for a minute, then suggests that investigation of the redheads' seat of power (Darkover) might be useful. Ilk mentions Dimover. Ilk mentions gating magically to other promontories. Ilk and Verra discuss an investigation into Dimover.

Ilk searches for Dimover, but doesn't find it in this reality. There's something similar to it, though.

Jenoir and Cailin prepare to leave Chaos and open a magical gate to the promontory on which Darkover once rested.
