Major Events:

Characters represented by players at this run: Cailin, Ilk and Jean.

Old Lords and Amberites Gather in Chaos

The tree that has the ribbons on it is present. Ilk goes over to look at his ribbon and has a Logrus tendril slapped away. "Behave yourself!" Ilk looks discreetly. His ribbon is gone -- there is now a "Savior of Chaos" spot in a Realms Lord corner of the platform on the top of the pole.

All of Jean that were in Chaos have converged on the spot. Jean has some other people imported to look after his house.

Jean has been watching the mage that was cleaning the moon and had then taken a nap. The mage woke up, ate the food, did two final twists, nails a few final magic things together, and the moon starts glowing white again. He stretches, looks around, says, "Okay. Now, I don't know if it's going to stay white, so you shouldn't uncover it for at least three or four of its normal cycles. If it gets reddish again, call me in the morning."

Jean and Hamster Gerard set up the mage with a guest room in Castle Amber. The mage jumps off of Jean, hits the ground with a solid thud, pauses briefly, then gets up and says, "Ow. That felt good."

The Tower Says, "Whee."

When Hamster Corwin left, he mentioned that he was summoned urgently by Dworkin to a place not where Dworkin is. Ecto-Ilk and Ecto-Suhuy decide to come along to help out -- the tower is mostly done. Jean buds into the tower to test it. It moves within him. The tower says, "Whee."

Ilk's Shifters Tap a Grey Sphere

Ecto-Ilk goes into House Cara to fetch the Stormy-stick. He chats with the House. The component Old Lords say that the King summoned them -- and that the Pattern here doesn't talk or write. Ilk tries to figure out if it would be possible to get the Pattern to hop off somewhere outside Chaos -- nope; this House is its home. And the House is the Old Lords.

Ilk goes into his closet to look for the Stormy-stick. When he opens the door, it is filled with random entropy and a few members of Home (eight or ten) who have survived. They thank him for the power source that he left behind that they've been cannibalizing, but suggest that it would have been easier if he had left directions behind. They point to a grey sphere in the corner. There is no stick. Ilk concludes that someone must have grey sphered Stormy.

They've been tapping the grey sphere for power. Ilk is amazed. They offer to show him; Ilk asks for a description. They can draw power from the sphere, but it requires a connection to it, and they gained the connection by escaping from the sphere. There were others, but they didn't make it out. They experimented with shapes until they found one that worked. Or maybe it was a combination of shapes...

Ilk generates a Logrus blade, forms it into a straw, and shoves it into the sphere. It takes a lot more power to poke a hole through from the outside than it does from the inside. Nobody comes out right away; Ilk sends one of his House members through to check. It returns with another thirty or forty shifters in tow. They converse. "Nope - pouring through the straw doesn't create a connection to the sphere."

They didn't see Stormy or a stick there, and they've drawn far more power out of the sphere than Stormy could have provided.

What they are tapping is raw power, more than Ilk has seen in a single spot in a long time, with the exception of the reality where Mikail set his trap. Not magic, Logrus, or Pattern -- a state in between. They are turning it into raw entropy.

Ilk has one of them go back in to try to figure out how to escape from the sphere the slow way.

In Chaos

King Osric heads over to the side to try to convince some of the Old Lords, including House Cara, to leave.

Cailin tries to fill in the assembled masses concerning the situation.

Jean suggests whacking the machinery with Bronelle power. Pharaban seems amused, and goes off into the Sea of Chance to find the promontory with the pillar of Bronelle power.

Neville tries to blucite the malevolent thing; the blucite is immediately eaten. Melk places the thing back into stasis.

Hamster Corwin crawls into Neville's helmet and starts poking around. Neville is alive, but unconscious. The helmet is lacking in readouts.

Jean asks Ilk to toss Neville into Amber. Ilk asks for a window, and is given one. Ilk hefts Neville, tests the balance, then spirals Neville off into shadow. [He actually Logrus-pulls Neville to Amber, then places him through the window onto the floor with a note on his chest, labeled, "King of Amber. This side up."]

Pharaban returns from the Sea, dragging a piece of reality behind him. He moors the promontory to Chaos. Pharaban's presence and actions are obvious to everyone present. Cailin fills Pharaban in on Neville's experiment.

Cailin is getting a trump call. He takes it; it's Beldan.

"Uncle Cailin? What the hell were you just talking to? Shannon just pissed herself."

Cailin and Jean try to explain Pharaban.

Jean asks Shiryu's apprentices how to smack something with an uppity piece of fruit. After some discussion, the apprentices decide that with Melk's help, they could probably migrate the place where that thing is to the other piece of fruit.

They talk for a while, then start tesseracting the stasis'd creature in jumps across Chaos.

Beldan complains to Cailin about being stuck in the quarantine zone near Laetatio. Cailin makes a separate quarantine zone for the people from Cobalt.

Ilk in the tree suggests to Jean that it bodes ill for Rainbow if people are openly trumping in a meeting of all of the Old Lords and nobody is saying anything. Jean worries about his father to REN. REN tells Jean not to risk his father's cover.

Cailin throws a paper airplane at his father. Laetatio doubles over in pain. "Ow, my eye!" Cailin finally convinces Tate to read the paper. Laetatio isn't happy about not being allowed to use Trump in Chaos. Random picked up a rock when Laetatio started complaining, and when Laetatio says, "What do you mean..." Random threw the rock and whacked Laetatio in the other eye.

The formerly-undead Cailin comes up and offers to help. People try to stop him. He suggests grounding the thing.

People, including House Cara, follow the thing over to the other piece of fruit.
