Suhuy notices a signal being broadcast by his students, reaches through the tendrils, and manifests Logrus energy in the shape of Suhuy behind the students.
Eventually, all of the students notice. When all have noticed, they bow. One bows improperly and is flicked onto the center of the training Logrus. The others bow again, some correctly and some too deferentially. Suhuy speaks to the ones who bowed correctly.
"You have sought my attention?"
They ask permission to walk the Logrus.
Eleven of them, who bowed correctly, are wrapped in Logrus in preparation for the departure. One who disqualified himself by brown-nosing looks disenheartened.
The Suhuy manifestation leans over to the disenheartened one. "If you can make it through the training Logrus before that one in the center makes it off, you can come."
That one is off like a shot. Suhuy causes that one's actions to become visible to the class and settles back to watch.
One begins shaping himself and the Logrus around him in an opening sequence that is more challenging than the ones that they had been taught. It's faster and more self-stable. He makes a more complex traversal than necessary, and shuts down the pathways behind himself when he is done.
Suhuy takes the dozen students to the antechamber of the Logrus. The Logrus deems the students to be tasty.
The one who has had the most rest since his last exercise starts out on the Logrus. Suhuy creates a chair out of pure Logrus energy, kicks his feet up, and starts eating popcorn. The students fidget.
Savior of Chaos joins Suhuy in the watching and popcorn. Suhuy joins in the pulling. There seems to be an echo that Ilk hasn't heard before while he is shifting energy between him-selves. The echo is adding power to the transition. He speculates that he might be scooping up bits of Serpent's Apprentice.
Ilks anchor the Logrus near the Serpent's head in an attempt to block any of the anti-Serpent song from reaching the Serpent.
The guy walking the Logrus is almost half-way through and is still walking. He has chosen a solid line of reasoning that it not flashy, demanding, impressive, or draining on his endurance.
Kintani notices waves of something flowing from the gold onto the pedestal. The pedestal is not being transformed.
Kintani acquires a stream of fish from Jean and aims. He creates a wedge of fish on the far side of a member of the dragon council, and an avalanche of fish to push the dragon over the wedge.
The first student has survived his traversal of the Logrus. He has definitely acquired Logrus madness of a variety that Ilk can't determine yet. He emerged from the Logrus on the tip of the spiral of Thelbane, slumped in his shape, and coated the spiral.
Suhuy looks up from his popcorn at the group and says, "Next". Indigo steps forward and is allowed onto the Logrus. He's good -- not great, not exceptional. He backs himself into a corner once or twice but manages to get out of the other side. The path forged is longer than Suhuy would have chosen and he missed a couple of turnings that would have made it shorter, and he exited the Logrus backward. He is currently standing on eight of his eleven limbs, with two upraised in front of him in a semi-defensive position, one of them on fire. He's standing on the top of a craggy, poorly defined Grey Zone mountain that it melting into itself. There are creatures with uncertain motives working their way up the mountain towards him. He plays around for a while, but his shape isn't obeying him.
Suhuy throws another Logrus initiate on the Logrus.
