From the GM
Benedict said an attack was impending at any moment from the courtyard, so there are troops arrayed around the castle courtyard. The rest of the troops are in Arden, fighting an invasion of blue watery things.
Zack stabbed a blue thing once with his Morganti, and the knife turned blue. He hit it again and disappeared. Auricle caught the Morganti, got on the flying carpet, and went to the Pattern room. She met the guards outside, faked a note from Benedict, and went through to evil Oberon Amber. She hung out a bit, then returned.
Zack ended up strapped to a table in a place with smoky water around. He was there along with most of the soldiers that had died or come into contact with the blue things. He was in better shape than most of the guards. Ask him about the dead parrot. He went into Faerie and back out again and was about to get back to Arden, might have made it to the castle.

From Norton's Player
Norton woke up from a state of unconsciousness in the center of the
Spiral with vague recollections of a large explosion from the vicinity
of Merlin and the thirty-five mages of Cobalt. I turned around and
found myself facing an exact copy of myself, including a copy of the
"happy helmet", all of my mind friends, and the trumps borrowed from an
undisclosed source in Amber, but not Greyswandir and the Jewels of
Judgment. We were doing mirror image movements of each other. It
became apparent that the malevolent force formerly possessing my body
was gone. It also became apparent that all of the mages, Carlton,
Damia, and Corwin were dead. There was no trace of Merlin. Several
Things were eating Carlton and were displeased when I tried to animate
him so they attacked. After a brief thwapping from both of us they left
us alone. There was not enough of Carlton to raise, but I was able to
raise a zombie of Corwin, although not a very good one because its brain
was fried. Damia's soul was gone so she could not be raised.
Myselves and Corwin discussed the risk of just walking across the
Spiral, since it did not respond to any request for transport. After a
pointless discussion we left without any ill effects. Found some
servants, and after a bit of persuasion they decided to look for someone
in authority. While waiting for their return we divided the six Jewels
of Judgment between myselves.
The servant returned with Damia's ghost, her unborn child's ghost, and
Damien. They had been in the woods where Bast was recovering from the
explosion. After some discussion, Damia agreed to be raised as undead
till another option was found. (After we repaired her body some by
shape shifting new organs for her)
Malachai was trumped and he pulled us through to him and Darkstar. Darkstar
and Damia determined that Merlin was interrupted by a forced trump contact.
Damia and Corwin both were showing signs of healing. I was going to leave
them with Malachai and return to Chaos.
From Cathryne's Player
When Cathryne returns from talking to the Sea of Thought (which didn't
know about rifts), the Mathematician has managed to create lots more
rifts. He says they're out of control now. Cathryne picks one at
random to go through (no pun intended), and the Mathematician tells her
that this one over here is more stable. She goes through that one, and
is in a meadow. She tries trumping Martin, who responds. He confirms
that she's back in the right continuum, and tells her that Benedict has
taken on Oberon and is in the middle of a siege against him. All
Amberites are to show up at the Castle to assist him or feel his wrath
later. Martin can't use the Pattern to go through shadow because
Benedict has done something to prevent this. Cathryne pulls Martin
through to her and they proceed via Logrus to move through shadow to
Amber. Martin is screaming. It's most annoying.
Cathryne takes a side trip to Dragaera. She locates Sethra and asks her
to call Verra. Verra takes over Sethra's body. Cathryne presents her
nameless traveling companion to Verra as one lover of three, as per
their agreement. Verra says that she will try him out to see if he is
suitable before she will agree that he is suitable payment. He screams
as he fades out, and Sethra returns to herself. She asks if Verra
showed up, and Cathryne tells her she took over her body. Sethra's
response: "Excuse me, I've got got to go be ill now."
Cathryne and Martin continue towards Amber, but not before Cathryne has
pulled in a hat for Martin to be sick in.
