Characters represented by players at this run: Cailin, Cassandra, Celeste, Ilk, Jean and Osric.

Waiting in the Council Chambers

Cassandra and Cailin consider heading towards Corwin for some information, then decide that Random will be a more reliable source of information. Random looks depressed - Clarissa has been sitting behind him throughout the meeting, poking him in the ribs and whispering in his ear. Cassandra offers to introduce her student to Random. The offer is rejected, and they ask Corwin if they can leave Thelbane. Corwin flips a coin to decide his response. The faces on the coin change mid-flip. He flips it again, and the coin pauses in mid-air, spinning. Cassandra tries to retrieve the coin with Force and ends up moving towards the coin. She grabs it - it's hot. She returns to the ground and drops the coin.

Jenoir asks Cassandra about the plans for her ascension party, mentioning that neither of them are associated with a House.

"My father had thought that Aunt Flora should arrange the party."

"Who is this Flora person who would make a member of the Assassins' Guild wince?"

"She is Amber's equivalent of the Etiquette Guild."

"All rolled up in one person?"

"Yes."

"No wonder you are reluctant to ask her advice."

Cassandra mentions that Flora is Rainbow's current paramour. Cassandra and Jenoir discuss party arrangements and protocol.

Cara approaches Swayville. They discuss Grand Tour. Norton is about ready to assemble Vlad, but will do the actual work in his shadow.

Ilk raises an eyebrow at Ilk, who mentions to Suhuy that the message was given.

Swayville approaches Corwin and company, but gets distracted by the little girl that waved at him and approaches her, instead. They discuss being let out.

Laetatio reaches the outside of the council chambers. A Jean outside greets him. "Hi, Tate." "Can I come in?" "Let me ask an etiquette guild member." Swayville approaches an Etiquette Guild member. "Can Laetatio come in?" "Who is he?" "Princess Chandra's son." "Of course he can enter!" Laetatio makes his way into the room, narrowly avoiding colliding with the departing second of the Bards' Guild. Laetatio walks over to Clarissa, gives her something small, then turns to leave. Cassandra notices Princess Chandra closing on Laetatio, and stays clear. Laetatio seems surprised when Princess Chandra shows up out of nowhere in front of him. They exchange a few words. Random hides his head in his arms.

Hillbilly Dworkin Approaches House Cara

Jean, Osric, and Zack realize that a Dworkin is heading towards them on House Cara as he comes into view. Swayville wanders over to Corwin.

Jean - "Hey Corwin? Whose head was that that Dworkin threw at Suhuy?"
Corwin - "Why do you want to know?"
Jean - "Zack asked."
Corwin - "Tell Zack it was his grandfather."
...
Zack - "Oberon!?"
...
Jean - "The Oberon grandfather?"
Corwin - "Yes."
Jean - "He's like all big-hair and everything."

The situation is discussed on the roof of Cara and in the council chambers, and in Dworkin's jester practice room.

"Hey Dworkin?" "Yes." "How do we defend against you? Not the you you - the you that threw Oberon's head at Suhuy."

Dworkin declares a field trip, and tells Jean to bring his fish. "Which one of my relatives are there?" "Zack." Dworkin pulls out a trump of Zack sitting on a mesa, laughing at Wile Coyote chasing Roadrunner.

Zack gets a trump call, and pulls through Dworkin and a primal-Jean shaped Jean. Both Dworkin and Jean are wearing jester caps; Dworkin's in labeled "Court Jester" and Jean's is labeled "Apprentice to Court Jester"

Dworkin Trumps his Descendants

Corwin, Caine, Bleys, Llewella, Brand, Flora, Julian, Zack, Random, Celeste, Martin, Tate, Cailin, Talos, Jackie, Mikail, Cassandra, the one Jean next to Dworkin, Ingold, Johann, Janus, Gil, Damia, Auricle, the Norton that bled out of Faythe, Faythe, and Raven are all connected in a big trump contact. They are aware of each others' presence, but cannot communicate with each other.

Celeste thinks Bleys is in a locust-torn field, and Brand is still in the Torturers' Guild. She tries to hang onto her dad.

Cassandra thinks that Ingold, Johann, Janus, and Gil are all near each other. Ingold, Johann, and Janus are at the center of a sunny Tir's Pattern. Gil is watching from the outside with a bloody sword and a corpse at his feet. The corpse appears to be in Benedict's colors.

Jean thinks that Caine is currently somewhere very dark. Raven is near him, and there are people in chains near them.

Cailin notices that Llewella's point of view seems to be a small sliver of something surrounded by the Sea of Chance.

Julian's perspective is that of an eagle flying above something. Auricle's point of view is from the inside of the belly of a whale. Damia is in a woods playing cards with a ghost. Mikail's perspective is that of a sand dune-covered hillside.

Dworkin says to all of them, "I am your Dworkin. You shall worship no other Dworkin, for I am a jealous Dworkin." He impresses on each of their brains a way to recognize him specifically, as opposed to any other Dworkin. Dworkin then rings off.

When that happened, Laetatio went slightly pale. Princess Chandra shook him, and asked if he was listening to her.

Celeste tries to trump Bleys. Result unknown - conversation out of the room.

Osric says out loud, "How am I supposed to recognize you?" Dworkin pushes something at Osric, and then Osric can recognize Dworkin.

Not much time passes before Corwin gets up, sheaths his blade, looks at Cassandra and Cailin, and says, "Grand-dad called. If you can join me, please do." "I know." "No, he called after that. He needs me." Corwin trumps out.

Cassandra approaches Princess Chandra and asks her leave to join Corwin. Laetatio twitches a lot. Princess Chandra, Cassandra, and Cailin decide to head out. She turns to one of the invisible assassins nearby, and says "Gate us there." They gate to the top of House Cara.

Princess Chandra turns to Cassandra's detail and says, "I'll protect her until you return with her weapons."

Jean - "Hey Dworkin? Is stuff going to blow up now?"
Dworkin - "Maybe."
Jean - "Then I'll bring Mecha-Jean."
Dworkin - "What's a mecha-jean?"
Jean - "You'll see."
Dworkin - "Does it have fish?"
Jean - "No."
Dworkin - "Maybe it should."

Osric - "Is there anything I should tell my army to do to prepare?"
Dworkin - "If it was me, then there would be absolutely nothing they could do to prepare, so they might want to leave."

Osric tells his army to leave.

Flora shows up. She turns to Jean. "Hi, dear. Nice hat." She looks around. "Cassandra. How's your brother?" "He's missing." She discusses wedding preparations.

Celeste is getting a trump call. She takes it - it's not very clear. She strengthens it. It's Martin. Martin asks her if she is at site of the upcoming conflagration - he's in Chaos at the moment. She says that she's also in Chaos, but redecorating. Martin tells her that Dworkin was on the roof of House Cara.

"...and you were the only person I knew well enough to draw a trump of."

Martin - "I hate trumps."

Celeste - "Why? They're very handy."

Martin - "Brand stabbed me through a trump."

Celeste - "That wasn't very nice. He must have had a very good reason."

Martin - "He was trying to use my blood to eradicate the Pattern."

[Norton in Celeste - "Are the curtains threatening?"]

After much persuasion, Martin comes through the contact. Celeste finds the local Jean, asks him to tell the people there not to panic, then opens a gate to the roof of House Cara.

Celeste gives Martin a trump of herself, and tells him to stay in touch. Martin gives Celeste tickets for one of his gigs, and says that there are always more seats free when Random is drumming - he's not a very good musician.

Cassandra's bodyguards arrive with her weapons.

Osric - "Hey - does anyone know where Ilk is? He should probably know about this."

Swayville tells Ferethyn's apprentice that Ilk's house is about to be attacked. She disappears to go help.

Swayville tells Ilk that the Dworkin who left the council chambers is attacking House Cara. Ilk sends a tendril to Ilk and fills him in. Ilk tells Suhuy.

Ilk goes to Jesby and asks her to tell Mandor that he's dealing with a situation at House Cara. She is annoying in return.

Ilk goes to Jenoir and mentions the situation. Jenoir mentions the situation on the House, and mentions that they shouldn't show up (?)

Suhuy approaches Ilk and tells him that if he has need of his help, he knows how to get into contact with him. Ilk bows to Suhuy.

There is a brief moment when Ilk sees himself bowing to Suhuy and then going back to his seat. The Ilk that was head of house becomes invisible, and the Ilk that was Suhuy's apprentice becomes visible.

Imagio tips a wink to Ilk. Both Ilks head for the door.

On Ilk's way out the door, Andron catches up with Ilk. "You wished to have a word with me?" "Outside?" Andron and Ilk leave the council chambers.

"How are you planning on getting there?" "Tendri'ing out. You?" "I'll just re-write reality to place me there." Ilk warns Andron about the Pattern.

Andron appears briefly at the ground in front of the House, then appears on the roof. "Nice handi-work. Whose is this?" Jean points at the empty barcalounger. "Ilk?"

Ilk tosses a paper airplane onto the roof. Zack catches it and opens it. "Ouch. Pattern. Ilk."

Ilk tosses a Sign of the Logrus at Dworkin. It slows him down for thirty or forty seconds, and then there is a wadded-up ball of Logrus on the ground. Both Ilks bombard Dworkin with Signs of Logrus. Dworkin's progress has slowed.

Ilk tosses a paper airplane onto the roof, asking the bearer to mention to the gentleman in the barcalounger that he might want to take a look at the approaching Dworkin.

Jean writes a note, attaches it to a fish, then throws it at Dworkin. Dworkin eats the fish, unfolds the note, turns it around and examines it carefully from all angles without comprehension.

Dworkin turns one of Osric's troops into a talking fish. Jean gives the fish orders, then throws it at Dworkin. Dworkin picks up the fish. "No! Don't eat me!" "Well, it's not a good as gopher..." Dworkin eats the fish. Ilk transcribes the conversation and throws the paper airplane at the roof.
