About me

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems, and Society. I have received my Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Lehigh University (LU). Before that I received the B.Sc. degrees in EE and Math and M.Sc. degree in EE from Sharif University of Technology (SUT).

I was a research student at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) for one year, a long-term visiting researcher at Institute for Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA) for one semester, and a Research Intern at Google NYC for 14 weeks.

Research

My research interests include

  • Cloud Control and Distributed Rate Limiting systems

  • Hard Limits and Tradeoffs in Large-Scale Dynamical Networks

  • Network Optimization and Control

  • Adaptive Control, Online Learning, and Online Bandit Problems

  • Dynamical Analysis of Fractional-Order Systems.
