Some useful information about traveling to MIT.
Lodging
Hotels in Cambridge/Boston are generally expensive and fill up quickly, with summer being a travel season, and we are not currently planning on having any sort of room block. We encourage you to book accommodations early. See the MIT suggested hotel list for several suggestions.
Early-Career Researcher support
We anticipate that limited funding will be available to help cover attendance costs for early career researchers (ECR), with priority given for students who are interested in attending to present their work at the poster session and have no other available funding source for travel. If you are interested in applying for funding as an ECR, please indicate as much when you submit an abstract. If you are an ECR and you want to attend the symposium but do not want to present a poster, then you can still fill out the form on the abstract submission page to apply for funding, but poster presenters will be prioritized first.
