The Habitat
The Habitat is a vital component to the mission in that it has many differnet functions and utilites. The most obvious is to protect the crew from the Martian world and adverse effect it can have on them. The goal of the habitat is to be a structurally sound structure, a home for the astronauts, and a base for all martian opperations. Each of these functions must be integrated and coexist despite their sometimes opposing needs.
