Auditions are held at the beginning of every term on the first day of class. The location and time are those listed for the class on our department website

Auditions for this semester are over.

Audition details

You do NOT need to bring a prepared piece. We will spend the first hour of rehearsal learning a few short excerpts from the repertoire for this semester. Afterwards, our conductor Bill will listen to everyone sing in octets (two people on each part). Results will be announced via email before the next rehearsal.

Returning singers must re-audition for the fall term. Re-audition is not required for the spring term, although returning singers should attend the first rehearsal anyway.

Don’t be discouraged if you have never done a choral audition before. Many of our members have little or no choral experience before joining. No reason to be nervous! Our auditions are very friendly.
