Agnus Angst: On the phone with Charlotte, she asks to stay over at her house, and, when refused, bitterly says Charlotte won't get to run the equipment at her show tonight. She yells at someone waiting for the phone, calling him an "IHOP speck." She calls a radio psychologist and complains that her parents have locked her out of the house, accusing her of leaving fingerprints on the cheese. She says her mother, a lesbian, is away in Europe doing performance art (like Agnus herself does) and she's neglected by her stepmother and her father, a biotechnology businessman who values his biological creations more than his daughter. She describes going to her father's lab and spitting in a petri dish in an act of "sibling rivalry." We move back to Trudy...
