My Writeup

The Purpose

I created a page for people to enjoy polevualting. Most people have not seen polevaulting let alone try it. So created a page so that any average person can enjoy polevaulting. I put a video on the internet for people to view and some still pictures. I put some general statistics on there. I also put a portion on there that has an instuctional help page that will walk you through an actual jump step by step.

The Process

First, I made an outline on paper on how I wanted the page to look like. Then I went in and actually wrote the html format. I left blank spots where I wanted pictures and where the video was to go. Then I scanned in all of the pictures and formatted them to the size that I wanted them. The video came next. I had to change a VHS tape to digital. Then I will link it to the home page.

The Learning

I learned in doing this project many thing. I learned how to create and modify web pages. I learned to write in html. I even learned a couple of cool tricks that I would like to use on my home page. Then, finally, I learned to how to put a VHS tape into a digital format. I even learned a good moral, do not procrastinate.
