Amulya Aluru ’23, MEng ’24 and the MIT Spokes have spent the summer spreading science, over 3,000 miles on two wheels. “I really wanted to do something to challenge myself, but not in a strictly academic sense,” she says.

Through games and other playful exercises, students draw upon their own experiences to create evocative set, sound, and lighting designs for MIT Theater productions. “If you feel it personally, an audience will also feel it personally,” Sara Brown says.

For DoorDash CFO Ravi Inukonda MBA ’10, food delivery is the ultimate puzzle. “My view of finance was very limited, but MIT opened up a world of possibilities,” he says. “Engineering and finance are very similar. You have inputs and outputs.”

HST grad student Sayo Eweje is developing new technologies for delivering RNA and protein therapies directly to the body’s cells. “There are so many challenges in treating disease where the bottleneck ultimately comes down to effective delivery,” he says.
