Our Mission
EAS is a team within IS&T.
The mission of EAS is to support MIT developers across the Institute,
especially those developing enterprise-wide applications that need
to integrate with MIT infrastructure. We do this in the following
ways:
- OKI-based service implementations
- Consulting
- Community resource building
Our OKI-based services are designed to help
developers of both desktop and web-based applications access MIT
infrastructure and create interoperable components that can be

We can help MIT developers with best practices, developing
requirements, using OKI, understanding the Enterprise Architecture,
and shepherding applications through the ITAG. More...
EAS is sponsoring developers@mit, a project
to provide resources and community structures to MIT developers.Our goal
is to support sharing software components, OKI implementations, and best
practices. We have a mailing list for discussion of development-related
topics and are working on providing a bulletin-board discussion forum.
