The Neural Control of Vision
P. Ongoing Research

B. Brain imaging studies:

The purpose of these studies is three fold. First we plan to identify which visual areas are involved in the processing of stereopsis and motion parallax and where these depth cues are integrated in stereo intact subjects. Secondly, we plan to determine how brain organization differs in stereo intact and stereo compromised individuals. Thirdly we plan to assess to what extent the visual system of subjects who have lost integrated binocular vision due to accidents becomes reorganized over time.
