Dr. Yanfeng Jiang

Yanfeng Jiang is a SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation) "Advanced Researchers" fellowship recipient working as a postdoctoral scholar in the Cummins group since 2013. Yanfeng got his Bachelor and Master degree in Tsinghua University under the supervision of Prof. Changjin Zhu and Prof. Chanjuan Xi, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Heinz Berke and further stayed in the same group as a postdoctoral researcher working on rhenium hydride nitrosyl chemistry and homogeneous catalyses. Yanfeng is now exploring the chemistry of PN ligands derived from white phosphorus for small molecule activation and for potential catalytic applications. He is also studying polyphosphate chemistry for pure inorganic ligand synthesis.
