| The girl walks forward into the light and looks up at the ironwork of the glass roof. She admires its strength and elegance, staring into the washed-out greyness of a boston summer sky. Relaxing into the held-in heat, she leans too far forward and her mother pulls her back across smooth marble. The daughter's hand grips the railing, leaving sweaty streaks on pink and white marble that linger in the humidity. |
