  The format of the Hour-Long Exam will be as follows:

  1. Listening Comprehension
  2. Grammar (same as practice test)
  3. Utilization ("Write the following in Japanese...")
  4. Reading Comprehension

  1. Review all the materials introduced during this semester, focusing on lessons 4-6.
  2. Do the Grammar Exercise Sheets handed out in class.
  3. Kanji: the Hour-Long Exam will NOT test on your ability to write kanji. However, you are expected to be able to read all the kanji introduced so far (up through lesson 6) for the reading comprehension section of the Exam. (See the Kanji study page for the lists of kanji for each lesson.)
