Juzar Thingna

I did my Ph.D. in quantum transport at the National University of Singapore with Prof. Jian-Sheng Wang. I then worked with Prof. Peter Hänggi for two years at the University of Augsburg (Germany) on driven open quantum systems. I then joined Prof. Cao at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART, Singapore) program where I focused on symmetries in open quantum systems and developed techniques to detect symmetries in many-body networks of open systems. I also worked on bio-physics problems of cytoadhesion and developed stochastic models to describe the adhesion of malaria-infected red-blood cells. My primary research interests are open quantum systems, Floquet engineering, quantum transport, and quantum thermodynamics.
