Le Marché is a small bistro right next to our hotel. We went there for our first meal in Paris and it was an endeavor trying to decipher a French menu. It’s small and cozy, and the service was good. We tried some new meals such as le canard (duck) and the composition vegetarienne.
Le Marche Ouvert is a typical French open market. Here there are many stands selling fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, vegetables, sea food, flowers, and more. We shopped with Emilie our guide for ingredients to cook lunch at her house. We bought sausage, tomatoes, camembert, chevre, french green beans, a cut of beef and of course baguettes. We also saw cow tongue, intestines, and sea urchins.

we stopped for Italian food at Mezza Luna. Many of us ordered delicious pizzas, seafood pasta, and mozzarella and tomato salad.
near our hotel. Patisseries can be found on every block in Paris, and they sell pastries, breads, and sandwiches. We stopped here many times to pick up chocolate croissants or other delicious desserts.
