menu is varied, based in French cuisine, but also including a number of dishes based on foreign foods, such as tandoori chicken, pita/dip platters, hamburgers and fries, and egg rolls, all of which we tried! I would recommend this restaurant to travelers as a welcoming place to take a filling meal.
brasserie is just a short walk away from the main chateau. Although the restaurant can get a little chaotic around noontime, the menu has a nice variety, from crêpes to pasta dishes to hearty salads. Although we did not have enough time to try the desserts, we had a nice lunch here during our visit to Versailles.
in Paris. It is both a patisserie and a restaurant on the Champs Elysees and has some of the most elaborate pastries. It is more pricey than most patisseries but also has a larger selection and each pastry looks absolutely perfect. It is most famous for its macarons. We bought chocolate, macarons, and tartelette aux framboises (rasberry tart).
