Flu clinics underway at MIT Medical

As the flu season approaches, MIT Medical reminds you to consider getting immunized. You may get a flu shot when you visit your clinician for a regular appointment, or you may make an appointment for one of several vaccination clinics taking place on campus through December.

You may also use Patient Online to request an appointment by specifying the Lexington clinician's name or by using the "search by clinical department" feature and select "Lincoln Services" from the pull-down menu.

Fine print: Flu shots will be administered subject to vaccine availability. If you are allergic to egg proteins, don't have a flu shot.

Pediatric flu clinics for children 6 months and older

As the flu season approaches, MIT Medical reminds you to consider having your child immunized. You can make an appointment to attend one our pediatric flu clinics taking place on the following dates:

MIT Medical/Cambridge

• January 10: 5:00pm–6:00pm
• January 7: 4:00pm–5:00pm
• January 9: 4:00pm–5:00pm
• January 14 - 16: 4:00pm–5:00pm
• January 18: 4:00pm–5:00pm
• January 22: 4:00pm–5:00pm
• January 25: 4:00pm–5:00pm

If your child or infant already has a regular appointment within the next two months, we can immunize your child during that appointment.

If this is the first year your child will receive a flu shot, we repeat the flu shot in one month as a booster. You can book both appointments when you call. If your child has had a flu shot in the past, only one shot is necessary. For more information, or to schedule an appointment for an immunization, please call 617-253-1505.
