Our Dermatology Service cares for acute and chronic skin
conditions, checks for skin cancers, and educates patients
on skin care and photo-protection strategies.
Specifically, our services include:
- Annual skin checks for skin cancer
- Skin checks for individuals at risk for developing skin
cancer
- Urgent visits for acute problems
- Diagnosis and management of non-urgent skin problems
- Ongoing care for chronic skin conditions
- Biopsies of skin lesions (under local anesthetic)
- Treatment of skin lesions using cryotherapy, electrocautery,
curettage, incision and drainage, excision, and extraction
- Ultraviolet phototherapy
- Coordination of outside services
