Orhan 4 Day 62 TE 6061

Kyrik is at the villa awaiting his newbies. He will lead them to Pocantos, contact the resistance, and see what help can be provided to them.

A couple of Hrazi show up. They encounter the dragon and are afraid, but he sets them at ease. It seems Gilraen and Sand do in fact speak a little Erlin, otherwise the speaking of Hrazi would be unfortunate.

While interviewing them, two more arrive: and elven ranger of some variety, and a mysterious figure with a huge voluminous cloak. The ranger identifies himself as Newmoon, and his companion, Brother Elk. Rather, his brother's name is Elk.

Even when eating, noone can see under Elk's cloak.

Newmoon explains that he is here because Kyrik might be able to help free their land from the Lankani. They've been living in Pocantos but it's mostly overrun with Lankani at this point.

Kyrik puts people up for the night, and has a servant take the barge out to get Newmoon's horses.

Orhan 4 Day 63 TE 6061

After a hearty breakfast, the party heads down to the ship, "The White Cloud". Sand blesses the ship for it's journey. We sail into the cloudless blue sky with the west wind at our backs. It's quite auspicious.

Except the sailors don't seem to appreciate the Hrazi flying around the ship.

Orhan 4 Day 65 TE 6061

After a couple of days black flags are noticed on the horizon. Sand is made invisible by Gilly and flys to monitor the pirates reporting back via mind link. We outrun them.

Orhan 4 Day 67 TE 6061

After four days travel, we arrive near the coast off Pocantos. We find a landing zone, but there seems to be some commotion further inland. Examination reveals a village is being slaughtered, and an altar is being built. We charge in!
