We declare victory, and adjorn to our respective debaucheries.

Orhan 2 Day 23 TE 6065

Alynna fusses around with her niece and her youth games.

Suddenly her niece says, "Daddy!" and points. Alynna doesn't see anything, but they wander through the crowd looking for him.

At home, there is a little letter for her that says, "The time approaches."

She gets a report from Mornan Xaon' sguys about what the lugraki are up to. Apparently, they are building a giant evil temple. Meanwhile, he's somewhat short of funds.

Alynna and Imre sneak around discussing the problem.

Orhan 2 Day 24 TE 6065

Imre and Alynna head to Zor to scout.

Meanwhile Haeraan is on his honeymoon. Suddenly Luna looks up at the night sky and says, "The portal will open soon. Both sides race together. The ones destined to meet must be present at the portal. The desert sands blow. The emporer approaches. Beware the coming of the portal." Then they go back to eating.

Imre and Alynna scout around the temple. Alynna notices (overflying the temple) inside there's a glowing altar like thing in the center. Imre scounts a bit around on the ground and decides it looks like they are about a month from being finished with the temple. They head back and report to Mornan Xaon with their findings.

Using Word Lore spells, Alynna discovers that evil brother wrote the note to her, right here in Selkai. Imre says that when a gate or crossing has been acomplished, it's easier to duplicate if all the original parties are present. Haeraan thinks it's an altar to Scalu or Akalatan. He also thinks the Unholy Day of Appearance happens in a little over a month (85 days).

Haeraan has dreams.

1) Temple and the Portal relationship? He's in a mad inventors lab. A metal ball goes down and the Rube Goldberg thing activates. After a bit, it stops. Then, evil brother comes in, and sticks some aparatus in the middle and this time it goes all the way through and continues and the door opens.

2) Why did Alynna's brother warn her? This time the Rube Goldberg set up appears. As part of the apparatus there's a little figure of Alynna that hits the bal at just the right time to send it in the right direction.

3) What happens if we don't go? He sees a tombstone. Upon it is written: "Good Brother"

4) Who's the emporer? He sees a shadowed figure sort of shortish. It looks familiar. Haeraan's sure he's seen this person before, but can't remember exactly when or where. As he wakes, he realizes, it looks a fair bit like Stampy.

Orhan 2 Day 25 TE 6065

We discuss. Stampy eh?

People head ot Veriak, who declares us to be both Key and Coin for the ritual.

There is definitely no Emporer Stampy in this universe.

Oathar outlines his mad plan to out think Evil Brother. It involves preswitching the two parties and then surprising Evil brother when the time comes. Or another plan to cut a deal with Lankonok. No one really listens though.

Meanwhile Imre is making divination rolls galore. He thinks evil brother thinks the original Zorians failed to complete the ritual catastrophically. He thinks Akalatan will help.
