This time Dave shows up, so we fight on...

Suddenly, we hear a voice in our heads. "If you are willing to call a cease-fire now, we are willing to let you live and depart unmolested."

Haeraan responds by throwing some C-4 halfway down the corridor to the barricade. We all hide behind the corner and Haeraan shoots the C4!

We run around blowing doors with C-4, and finding stuff. Imre and Alynna find the planar seed that grew the demi-plane. They start communign with it. The toher three of us find the Dyar whose evacuating the scientists and secrets. Haeraan throws a block of C-6 at the Dyar's feet. Thinking it's C-4 Oathar and Kyrik shoot it. There's an earth shattering kaboom. It's crazy. We all take a couple of H crits. Anyone who survives those gets one round to teleport out before the mountain collapses on them. As it turns out, all escape. Some navigators show up too with us at the edge of the zone.

The entire base seems to collapse into the ground.

Kyrik teleports us all home.

When Oathar wakes up, he tells people it was the portal implosion that did it.

We head to Santa Vallandra. Then we head ot the tower, and we anchor the thing to the portal in the tower.

Haeraan goes off to ask his father-in-law what the heck happened with the Alliance's plans.

Kaitaine is no longer in immediate danger of being taken over, but it's not happening on the previous schedule. However, the new number one priority is find the evil people who did this to us and make them pay.

There are messages left for us in Santa Vallandra. Oathar goes to get the message. It says, "Good Job! We believe their facility is in utter ruins. The place is a total loss, though they probably still have access to the ruins. It'll take a while to rebuild and they took heavy casulties among the defenders. Their compass creation is crippled though not totally destroyed thanks to some of their evacuation. Here's a 20K gold travel voucher."

The planar seed is growing, it's already got a 6in ring of dirt around it.
