In which our heroes ... Orhan 2 Day 22 TE 6065 Lorgalis day arrives. We ask Valris how to trick Andaras into arranging the ultimate cage match between us and Lorgalis. Valris suggests we let Andaras choose the venue (cage match on the island of the navigators). Or, we could let Andaras set some things up in exchange for teleporting us right into his stronghold through an Andaras funhouse, thus causing Lorgalis not flee. We go to the temple of Andaras, and cut the deal for zany peril in exchange for the teleport/anti-teleport. We put the mouse on the altar, and it vanishes and a skein of yarn appears. "When you are ready, tangle the skein." We buff, we plan, we buff. Then, it is time to go. Valris gives Kyrik a pair of fate points. Shaal gives Oathar a gratuitous fate point. Then we pass out the bubble guns. Orhan 2 Day 23 TE 6065 We tangle the skein, and suddenly find ourselves in front of a great castle on an island with noone anywhere to be seen. Imre pushes on the doors and they slowly open into a castle courtyard that's eerily empty. Ahead of us is a big set of marble stairs leading up to the main entrance. Imre manages to open teh doors without setting off any traps. But as we open those final doors, the castle fades away and in front of us is a tunnel with some squeaking going on inside. It's a hallway filled with traps. Yup, we start heading down the hallway of infinite traps. Go Agent X! We also notice that we are leaving mice tracks behind us. Making our way carefully through we get to another door that leads to a long gallery, lined with archers. The the floor erupts in flames if we try to evade the peril. We run down the hallway, taking occasional arrow strikes that leak through our deflections storms! We barrel through the doors at the far end of the hall and find ourselves in a dark room. We're in a sealed doorless room with holes in the ceiling. Then the ceiling starts descending. We hear "Step right up and play Whak-a-mouse!" When we get out of the whak-a-mouse room, we end up in a hall of mirrors with Lorgalis. He opens as usual with a Mass Dispel everything. We fight mirrors while Lorgalis smites us. He lights the room. We go blind. Then he opens a greater demonic gate. That's bad. Next time, more doom with Lorgalis.
