Orhan 2 Day 70 TE 6053

In the city of evil, we ask direction to a little hostile or Inn. C, goes in and negotiates for the lady and her retinue. He comes out and asks for five gold to get us a place to stay for several days. Oathar gives it to him out of some party funds.

We retire immediately and have some wine and food sent up.

Then we sit down and discuss the plan. Perhaps we're here to buy some more slaves for D. We're told of the slave auction which we should go to. Dwarven slaves aren't so common.

Orhan 3 Day 1 TE 605

We head to the slave auction. C. gets us a nice sedan chair to carry our dark lady around in. Oathar is a natural sedan chair carrier. Everyone else almost kills D. At the auction there are several other chairs, with auctioneers and stuff around.

They start with some Kobolds (some silver), Lugraki (some gold), a Wood Elf (15 gold), Fair Elf (Linear) Child (fierce bidding)....

C. asks the party how much we have to instruct D. in the bidding. We tell her we have 1000 gold for the whole trip. Then some of the coalitions start approaching D. looking to deal for parts. D. negotiates for an extra 30 gold to the purchase price in exchange for a lock of the girls hair and some blood. The bidding gets up there, but C. wins it for 129 gold. The evil elf gives us half of his share and says he'll collect the blood and then pay us the rest.

We take our new elven slave back home to the Inn. Imre is assigned to making her comfortable. He gets out of her that her name is Lianna. Imre took the elf hair.

Then she got interviewed by the dark lardy herself. She has lot's of skills, she sings, and plays the flute, and sews, etc. She's quite timid. She's a housegirl now. She serves at the whim of the dark lady.

D. makes little jobs for her to do to keep her comfortable. Oathar scouts with the bird. We're in the lower class quarter. The opposite quarter is all large super mansions. The other two quarters are mostly commercial. There's a barracks next to the auction space.

Eventually the creepy guy shows up. A Dyar who's "here for the blood and the hair." He's so bad. He jsut bleeds her right out. A pint later, he stops.

He pays C. He asks why D. wants her. D. glares at him?

We set up watches for the night.

Orhan 3 Day 2 TE 605

New morning! Imre keeps training the slave girl. Back to the slave auction!!!

We arrive early this time in order to see the slaves early. This time there are three humans, a goblin, and a dwarf. It's even one of our dwarves. Klangedon.

An hour later we do the thing. Goblins (couple silver), Humans (10 gold each), Dwarf (bidding)

It goes up for a while then starts stalling out around 18 gold. That's when C. jumps in. Sold for 23. We take him back to the Inn. He hates D. and is ready to kill her, but she's totally sarcastic and he wilts under her withering glare. They go and explain the deal to the dwarf. He doesn't believe that his noble family had humans come get him.

His friends were sold to a real evil looking fellow with a witch. She had an evil looking whip thing. Kyrik describes Xiax, from our old stomping ground the Temple of Cay.

C. investigates. The witch-woman was a priestess of Morales. Haeraan realizes that a holy day of morales is in two days.

In other news, Lianna Lightwave (Photon Girl!) is from Kaitaine, where her father was an alchemist, and her mother was an herbalist. Lianna knows some Delving. Her uncle worked with her father back in Kaitaine and is probably still there.

D. decides to infiltrate the temple in complete disregard of Oathar's brilliant "Let's build fake Dwarves out of Straw" plan.

D. strikes out with survielance of the temple. C. says he found a merchant who can get a line on Splody powder.
