In which our heroes ...
Orhan 3 Day 3 TE 6053
We head off to the Splody powder guy's shop. D. takes her cloak. We take
C. too. And Oathar! Even Imre comes along. It's in the warehouse district
in a small office. The Diar there recognizes C. and gets down to business.
The bad guy has a small pouch of the stuff. It's good quality. D. and
C. feign serious interest and the guy gets all skittish. We want 100 barrels
a month! He can offer us 50 now and 25 a month. He needs to talk to his
supplier. We'll be back in an hour.
We follow him to another warehouse. He goes in. After a few minutes he
comes out again and heads back to the office. Another Diar leaves that
place and goes to the office.
D. goes back to the meeting after the hour. D. make ssome sensory marked
coins and we return.
Now there are two Diar. "I am the alchemist. I understand that you
desire 100 barrels a month." They want 1000 gold downpayment. The
alchemist says that looking at our production facilities is not possible.
They're taken to the secret underground alchemy lab under the warehouse.
There's the splody powder assembly line. D. inspects the area. She tips
the guy with a sensory marker.
We use the sensory marker to see that the head alchemist is still in
the warehouse and we head in. We easily defeat the outer alchemists and
get some keys. We also get some alchemical notes from him.
We take his keys and head down to the torture chamber. It's filled with
the standard stuff. We head to the back room and find 20 jars with living
heads!!! "Help us!" "Save us!" They're not technically
undead. "Brarandra, Brarandra! Save me!"
Imre goes to work!
Imre comes up with nothing.
We interrogate the head alchemist. Lord Sentoris was brought here by
agents of Lord Azzgha. Lord Sentoris admits that he was conversing with
Lord Azzgha before he was kidnapped at their first face to face meeting.
Past the temple district, take the next broadstreet up, and it's the third
mansion on the head. Sadly he tells us that the rest of this underground
complex is a giant research and development firm.
We send some fire elementals to blow up all the barrels of gunpowder
and the entire warehouse goes up. Much of it exploded, but a fair bit
may have been left behind.
We stash the head and body at the inn and head to the Temple. D. sneaks
over and hears the password. D. asks for the blessing of Morales and heads
on in with Vallandra. It's a giant masochism fest. She gets accosted a
lot.
The find a dwarf conveniently near and exterior wall and rescue him.
He points us to the cells where we try to find the other dwarf. We teleport
the two dwarves out and then all goes to heck. Lot's of teleports later,
we flee, via teleports of doom.
From the Inn, we flee! We escape!

We get back to the Dwarven City.

We get to Selkai!!! Yay!
Vallandra's house is in an uproar as Lord Sentoris vanished a few weeks
ago. They honor Vallandra, but don't really know what to do with the head.
It's quite disturbing. The temples don't really think they have a clever
plan.
Orhan 3 Day 58 TE 6053
We're contacted by Gireg Jan, Anton, AND, Ren Thraysek. Loremasters abound!
"I'd like to thank you for your efforts in obtaining the herb."
Woo! Someone who doesn't want to talk about the head. We get debriefed
about our journeys. They say, "Nope, C. doesn't work for any of us."
Gireg however looks embarassed and says, "Well, actually......"
D. glares at him.
Orhan 3 Day 60 TE 6053
The briefing finishes. He tells us about the end of the second age and
the wars of dominion and the dread comet Sekain!
They want to give us advanced training and the chance to become Loremasters
ourselves. Woo! Normally they don't do this for groups, but for us they'll
make an exception. The three of them have sponsored us for secret initiation.
Yay! We must go to Karalon, home of the Loremasters! Haeraan will be trained
by the master who trained Anton himself.
We leave in the morning!

We board a ship, the Golden Sprite. The ship mostly sails itself.
It's quite clever. Oathar is very impressed. We mostly go west into the
sunset.
Orhan 4 Day 1 TE 6053
We arrive late at night. Dawn breaks and we're sailing into the sun.
To the west. Oathar is quite concerned.No one else seems to share is distress.
Imre thinks it's, "powerful mojo".
There's a gleaming white tower. Anton welcomes us to the home of the
Loremasters. Yay!
