In which our heroes ...
Orhan 2 Day 66 TE 6055
We teleport into Santa Vallandra. They've got their crops in, and have
the little militia they are training and have patrols. They've even got
a few scouts/rangers working. They've been pretty quiet.
Haeraan inspects things and makes sure everyone is doing something sensible
in the defense efforts. They seem to be competent.
Orhan 2 Day 67 TE 6055
We work with the Vallandrans, on fortifying their storage manor with
earth walls and the like.
Orhan 2 Day 69 TE 6055
We head out. We're heading north towards Danarchis.
Orhan 3 Day 09 TE 6055
We get horsed in Bokpentok. We also buy a giant cartload of beets.
Orhan 3 Day 19 TE 6055
We move up the road memorizing teleport locations along the path.
Orhan 3 Day 39 TE 6055
We arrive in Danarchis. Oathar sells the beets. A gold an a half profit
is made! Woo!
Orhan 3 Day 39 TE 6055
We catch one of our ships and comandeer it to take us to Pocantos and
then Nom Rul.
Orhan 3 Day 59 TE 6055
We stop in Selkai to get news, and find that Nom Rul is still held by
the good guys but the armies are advancing. We get the prince a meeting
with our Prince. Piracy seems to be on the rise. He pleads his case for
support against the Lankani. Our Prince doesn't think we can afford to
get involved just yet, though is willing to arrange for humanitarian supplies.
Oathar volunteers his shipping companies for moving humanitarian aid.
The prince leaves a couple of people here to arrange coordination for
the supply drops. (Oathar visits the princess. Imre visits his mother.)
Orhan 4 Day 09 TE 6055
We drop the prince and general off in Picantos, and head down to Nom
Rul. The city is quite tense as the rumors of approaching armies are scaring
the populace. Haeraan decides to stay in Nom Rul to assist the beginning
the defense. The rest of us head to Ashenoq and back. At least, that was
the plan.
Orhan 4 Day 10 TE 6055
Haeraan finds the enemy. There's a battle, 10 vs. 25 of the enemy. Haeraan
manages to kill the enemy commander, and the larger force flees.
Orhan 4 Day 11 TE 6055
Haeraan finds the enemy. This time, it's 10 vs. 50. Haeraan gets his
troop to evade and flee.
Orhan 4 Day 19 TE 6055
The rest of us arrive in Ashenoq. The Hu-Tarn gives us his thanks, but
things are still grim. We tell the Hu-Tarn what's up on other fronts.
The Lankani should have trouble supplying as they extend towards Ashenoq.
He asks if we can assist by setting up a supply route through the north
for when Nom Rul falls. We say we'll deal with setting something up if
we can.
Orhan 4 Day 29 TE 6055
We pick up Haeraan, and get on the boat back to Selkai.
Orhan 4 Day 31 TE 6055
The big Lonkani/Nuyani battle occurs just outside Nom Rul. We decide
to send our ship north and assist with the battle as we can. Haeraan takes
a small unit of men to command and the rest of us join them. We go! We
engage a unit twice as big as our own. (25v50)
In the first battle round, we lose a guy, and they lose eight! Woo! In
the second round, our tactics prove inferior, and they lose 2 guys to
our 5, with a significant shot to Kyrik. The last round, Haeraan rally's
our troops together and we lose a couple more guys while killing four
more. (18v32)
Battle continues. The opposing commander makes a terrible blunder (rolls
a -66), and off we go. They lose 8 to our 2. Then he recovers and we fight
hard. We lose 3 more to their 3. Then Haeraan reveals his feint, and we
take our four for another two. (10v21)
We press our attack as best we can, losing 1 to 4. (9v17) We stick in
for another round. Rar! (7v13)
The enemy breaks and runs! We use the retreat to get our casulties to
safety.
Orhan 4 Day 32 TE 6055

In the second round, the enemy mage fumbles (13v18) Last round: (11v13)
Further battle: (9v10) followed by a disasterous round (6v8) then (4v6).
The penultimate round: (2v3)
The battle ends: (0v0) The two armies fall apart at nightfall. Oh how
they fell! The Lankani have lost a 4000 man army.
Orhan 4 Day 47 TE 6055
Back to Sel'Kai! Woo!
Orhan 4 Day 52 TE 6055
We sell the silk for 2500 gold. We've got the first choice of silks purchased
from Nuyam Kom. There's a bid for 20K gold on Wolvesbane.
