Take Action!

If this is a topic you feel strongly about, no matter who you are, you can make a difference. And there are many ways to do so.

  • Never Forget: Smallpox-infected blankets, WWI's chlorine, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Halabja, Sarin in Tokyo's subway, the Moscow theatre siege
  • do not undertake research that is instrumental, even minutely, to the support of WMDs
  • undertake research that helps the disarmament process
  • apply for funding from the The MacArthur Foundation
  • join or donate to an established anti-WMD organization
  • write your government representative, in whatever is your home country
  • understand the issues
  • share your knowledge with others and engage in constructive dialogue
  • write letters to the editor of your local newspaper if the opportunity arises
  • enourage your university to refuse research that in some way supports WMDs
