Student Cable is hosting a film hackathon this Spring. The dates of the hackathon will be Saturday March 7 - Sunday March 8. We'll be providing all of the equipment for creating your own short film, no longer than 1 minute in length. We'll have open slots where you (or a group!) can sign up to use our film equipment. There'll be plenty of us around to help you use our cameras, mics, etc. Then, on Sunday, we'll again have open slots for you to use our editing equipment to put together your final video. Sunday night, at 8 PM in 4-163, we'll host a viewing of everyone's videos with snacks and food that you can invite your friends to. We'll have a panel of judges to choose the winner, who will win: TBD.
All entries should follow the theme / prompt : IHTFP. We're open to broad interpretations of the prompt, so it should give you plenty of room to flex your creative muscles.
Entries will also be posted on our Youtube Channel and on our website, along with links to your personal youtube channel or website, if you'd like.
