Meeting Maker DateBook Conduit


The Meeting Maker DateBook conduit synchronizes your Meeting Maker calendar with the Palm Datebook. This includes meetings, activities, and banners.

To configure the Meeting Maker DateBook conduit:
  1. Highlight the Meeting Maker DateBook conduit, and click Change... to display the options. The Date Book Conduit Configure dialog box appears.
  2. Enter your Meeting Maker Login Name, your Meeting Maker password (if any), the server you are on, and the protocol.

    Note: The protocol should be the same protocol used by your regular Meeting Maker client. Your administrator can tell you what to select here.


  3. Select an Action from Date Book Setting.
    • Synchronize the files--performs a two-way synchronization between Meeting Maker and the Palm organizer.
    • Desktop overwrites handheld--performs a one-way synchronization from Meeting Maker to the Palm organizer.
    • Handheld overwrites desktop--performs a one-way synchronization from the Palm organizer to Meeting Maker.
    • Do nothing--no data is exchanged between Meeting Maker and the Palm organizer.
  4. Select a Date Range.
    • Process All Items--synchronizes all items in your calendar.
    • Process Only Future Items--only synchronizes items in the future
    • Process Items in the Range--synchronizes items within the specified time range.
  5. Click OK to set the configuration options and return to the Custom dialog box.
