Recently awarded the 2006 Student Service Leadership Award, MIT SWE Outreach Chairs aim to promote
engineering as a positive force in the community by educating them about the numerous
opportunities in engineering as a future career! They achieve this through events for all youth ranging from
a engineering day with brownie girl scouts to a design competition with teams of high schoolers and
university students.
