Huh?
On 12 December, we ran the article titled LaserWriter 8.4: Changing the Default Paper Size. We have received additional information from Apple Engineering that there are some applications which will not save these defaults. However these are application specific, so you may or may not be able to change the default paper size.
On 09 December, we ran the article titled Newton OS: Versions & Updates. Not all of the Newton OS updates were current. The article has been updated and it is available from the TIL (TECHINFO-0019526).
We have received inquiries asking why software is posted to the Apple FTP sites, and notification not sent out when the software becomes available. Until every site Apple post software updates on has the update, the notices are not put into the Information Alley. Today there are several examples of software that has been available for a day or two on Apple's FTP site, but until all the sites had the software, we couldn't announce its availability.
