WELCOME!! It is our lovely community garden!   One beautiful afternoon in Sep.1997, a student of Sulzberger Middle School said, " I enjoy to growing vegetation with my mother in Aspen Farm community garden! We weed, manure, and irrigate land.", " Sometimes in the summer, I play with water and feel so cool!"

My Narrative ----------- Create a good place for the resident of Mill Creek area not only to play miniature golf, but to have an opportunity to garden their own environment. Due to the lack of chance and the smaller area of Aspen Farm community garden, I would like to offer a bigger place and let the resident grow their own vegetation there, just like Aspen Farm. During the sequent path of miniature golf course, I would like to create varied ways and methods to show how to irrigate plants. And as the same principle of irrigation, I'll also design different equipments for children to play with water. For children, it will add more fun to play with miniature golf; for parents, it is also a good opportunity to teach their children how to garden their plants.

Concept in Context ...

Aspen Farm Community Garden is a very successful community garden in Mill Creek area. The gardeners have group meeting once a month to exchange their reactions of gardening and share experiences to each other in an old Veteran of Foreign Wars Club which is located on the middle of the block of 48th and 49th street near Sulzberger Middle School.   In my concept, to link Aspen Farm and my design --- Golf Farm is very important. By using unique path, pavement, or plants (green belt) to connect Aspen Farm, Golf Farm, Meeting Club, and Sulzberger Middle School, I believe this community will be changed better and better.

Functional Plan ...

*Community Farm area : There are 41 gardens for people to grow their Vegetations. *Club : Structure with shop, concessions, rest rooms, and offer the gardening and golf equipment. *Parking Lot : Offer more than 30 parking spaces. *Miniature Golf Course : Fantastic mini golf course and playground. Follow the up and down path and play with water. It is a recreational and educational place. *Existing Green Area : Keep the Existing Condition, especially those great canopy trees. *Future Golf Course : For future expansion, including the additional mini golf course and parking for the additional 30 cars.
