We identified several aspects of pollution threatening the Amazon Rain Forest, from mercury, cyanide, excessive carbon dioxide and nitrous oxides to sulphur and pesticides. The final web page devoted to characterizing the pollution in the Amazon can be found here.

We realised that the pollution was caused by human proceses such as logging and mining which are prominent in the Amazon, and the solutions to the pollution problems in the Amazon are in effect solutions to these human processes. For solutinos from the final website, click below:
