"We are a rapscallious bunch, who didn't necessarily choose to be in this group, but are now very involved researching the various viewpoints of different people and groups in Alaska."

Kristina Holton
Kristina Holton: Freshman whose uncle is a native Alaskan, or at least she thinks so. Enjoys designing web pages, talking about the benefits of cold fusion, and reading erotic poetry. Actually, she's a SABRE GIRL, tennis player, softball player, Course 7/21A (explains the distaste for numbers), and the token humanities person for MIT c/o 2007. Likes to bike, hike, and kayakike and throw heavy objects at her team members, because she is a crazy pirate sadist, and loves to see people go home for the first time in months with a developing black eye.

Crystal Law

Crystal Law: Freshman able to decipher the complexities of any calculus problem. Spends great amounts of time eating and sleeping in Terrascope room.

Anna Massie
Anna Massie: Freshman from Louisville, Colorado (near Boulder) who is always ready to pep up the team with a smile. She is currently looking at pursuring her degree in course 16. She wanted to be in Terrascope in order to look at large problems, and anaylize all the different components that go into the problem. She loves music, including dancing singing and playing the flute. She also likes to hike, swim, and read. However, she cannot spell. Shout-out to all my peopleS! (Update: Anna and computers is like a female gorilla and a car - she sits there, scratches her head, grunts, but nothing works.- this is only because she was still openly bleeding from the head due to Kris.)

Matt Zedler

Matt Zedler: Freshman from Richmond, VA who is currently considering majoring in Course 2 with minors in Spanish and economics. Terrascope appeals to him because of the and the complexity of the problem and multi-system perspective that must be used to understand and solve it, and the fact that there are at least four girls to every guy, and enjoys watching girls wrestle over large sticks and video tapping the entire process. Unfortunately, none of the Mission girls notice he's alive. He enjoys hiking, water-skiing, talking long walks on the beach, sitting by the fire listening to classical music, and watch people beat each other up.

Support Staff

Priyanka Sundareshan: Sophomore who is a member of Alpha Chi Omega and enjoys helping us do research as our Undergraduate Teaching Fellow. Enjoys bhangra dancing, doing problem sets at the last minute, and hanging out with Kip Hodges.

Marcelo Tergino: Mentor. Helps us research topics.

Cameron Wobus: Web site reviewer. Similar to Siskel and Ebert, but it is rare that we get "two thumbs up."

Benjamin Crosby: Mentor. Helps us research topics we don't know anything about, especially those related to the culture and beliefs of Alaskan citizens since he has lived and worked in Alaska for a period of time.

Margaret de Popolo: MIT Librarian who works at Rotch Library of Architecture and Planning. Knows how to help us find all the research books we need.
