Class meets Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30-12:00, E51-372

The midterm will be on Oct 23. It will cover these sections of the syllabus: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 14, and however much of 5 was covered in class on Tuesday Oct 21. It will cover all of the papers that are referred to in those sections except Udry (1996) in section 14. For section 3 it is Rosenzweig (1990, 1977) and sections 5 and 6 should both refer to Kremer(1993). It will also cover the two papers that were discussed in class and added into the web page containing links to the readings: Glewwe, Kremer, Moulin (2000) and Banerjee et al (2003).

Stata help This Stata help was written for the command line version of Stata. If you are used to using Windows, some tasks are easier if you use Stata on a PC (which you can do in the undergrad computer lab in the economics department) or you use the GUI version on Athena by typing xstata instead of stata.
Stata help 2 This one is better in some ways.
