Class meets Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30-12:00, E51-372

The midterm will be on Oct 23. It will cover these sections of the syllabus: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 14, and however much of 5 was covered in class on Tuesday Oct 21. It will cover all of the papers that are referred to in those sections except Udry (1996) in section 14. For section 3 it is Rosenzweig (1990, 1977) and sections 5 and 6 should both refer to Kremer(1993). It will also cover the two papers that were discussed in class and added into the web page containing links to the readings: Glewwe, Kremer, Moulin (2000) and Banerjee et al (2003).
