TEAM ARK | THEME: SUGARLAND | HOME

From our overall theme of Sugarland, our team has chosen to pursue the "Jumbled Jelly Beans" concept for our final escape room. Over the course of the semester we pursued several aspects of the concept. We worked on testing and finalizing the physical components, including the design of the jellybean hold, the type of touch sensor and how it is attached, and the wiring of the room. We also refined our storyboard and developed our room theme and user experience.

This is the wiring diagram for the future module. The only difference between this and the current module is that there are three capacitive touch sensors and each jellybean is wired to its own channel so that they can be sensed individually. Each sensor has its own address, determined by the AD pin connection. The red sensor is addressed to 0x29 (no AD connection), blue to 0x2A (600K Ω resistor between the AD and ground), and yellow to 0x28 (wire connecting AD and 3V). The SDA, SCL, and Vin pins of all three sensors are wired together.
