Full Room Sketch

For this portion of the concept refinement we needed to think about the layout of the room, specifically how the ball catching leads to the ball feed that provides balls to the players. The display board, left outlined in the sketch above, separates the room into two parts where the players stand and the other side where the balls are thrown. We have reduced the board size from the original 10x10 grid to 6x6 to fit into the room proportions without having to make the ball pits too small. The ball pits will be around 1.5ft squares and the display board around 7ft tall. As the players will be throwing the balls blindly over the display board there is a very good chance they miss the ball catching mechanism all together so we plan on incorporating nets around the ball pits to catch the missed shots and lead them to the outside ball pits.
