Running Away to Join the Circus

In addition to the information provided through the story board, there are a few other features I think are important.

In the first panel the roof of the circus tent has narrower stripes than the rest of the tent. This is because the top of the room has to be open for fire sprinklers. However I thought that proping up red streamers to go out in a conical manner would help make the exterior of the room look more like a circus tent without being a fire issue.

As far as the design of the device to be hit/ stood on I think a large dashpot could be used to make it hard to trigger with a hammer hit and easier to trigger with teamwork and multiple people standing on it.

To make this self reset, there would simply need to be a ring around the base of the rod that is hit/ stood on which would actuate in an upwards motion enough to push the hammer off the rod, so that the hammer is lying next to the rod when the next group comes in.
