In addition to the information provided through the story board, there is one possible modification I think is worthy of note.

If the current design of the room is too easy I think another possible layer could come from opening the car, seeing there was not enough space to fit a human, and then realizing the trunk might have more space. The group would then have to pop the trunk by pulling the appropriate lever in the car, which would lead to the trapdoor and exit.
