The journey seemed to have a lot of stop and going and Arthur had wished that he wasn't stuck in some pocket but out so he could see the sights of the journey. But finally, Arthur heard a loud horn sound like what some birds make, so it seemed to him that the journey must be over. He soon discovered he was right because after a muffled conversation, he was brought out of the pocket.
"With that?" exclaimed the King. "Royal Head-Chopper-Off-er, here comes another one and toss that thing in the fireplace."*
Arthur got very worried. Had he come to see the king only to be firewood. He was special indeed. Special firewood for the King. Oh woe is him.
But the Woodcutter jumped to his aid. "But your majesty, you made a deal. Give him a chance." The King nodded and let them try.*
Then Arthur noticed something very strange. He still heard the occasional rattling but he couldn't see the toymaker's son. "Where could that boy be?" he thought. Then he realized that the rattling sound was coming from him. He was a rattle. He was special toy. Anyone could see that after seeing what made the toymaker's son so happy; what toy was always with him.
Arthur was given to Princess. The Princess held Arthur and gave him a little shake. Soon her screams turned to a frown. Then from a frown to a smile. Then from a smile to a laugh. Arthur had found his place in the world where no birds would land on him and no bugs would crawl on him.
And Arthur and the Princess lived happily ever after...
