| This Fourth of July I managed to get a press pass that allowed me access to almost all of the restricted areas of Boston's celebration. During the actual show, I took up a spot on the press riser off to the side of the shell. It was difficult to shoot the action on stage because the television cameras kept getting in the way. I had plenty of time to scout the crowd with my lens before everyone broke out the glowsticks. When the time came, it was simply a matter of waiting for the right moment. |
