| Commencement week is always hectic at MIT. Alumni return to campus for reunions, the graduating seniors have an array of activities, and the Ph.D.s get their hoods. This year, in congruence with Murphy's Law, two of our four Nikon D1s were in the shop. Since The Tech needed to cover everything, I didn't have much time with the D1H before it needed to be back in the office for a handoff to a different photographer. Though the assignment only took a few minutes, the photo ran big and full-color on page 1 above the fold. |
