Preparation for Lecture 12

Read section E of chapter 7. This lecture will discuss the end-to-end layer, focusing on achieving reliability, recovering from packet loss. It will also discuss how the end-to-end layer achieves flow control, a mechanism to ensure that the sender does not swamp the receiver by sending too fast.
