A renovated industrial warehouse built in 1890, the five-story, 90,000-square-foot residential complex for graduate students at 224 Albany Street houses 120 single-occupancy suites, each with its own bath and kitchenette. Designed by the S/L/A/M Collaborative, the dormitory features a dramatic central atrium, common areas and quarters for a faculty housemaster. It offers graduate students an attractive alternative to off-campus housing and provides housing for conference-goers during the summer months.
