The Glass Lab is occupied almost everyday of the year. During the winter snow blows into the lab through the large open windows on the left side of the room, and standing next to one of the furnaces helps warm gaffers coming in from the freezing Northeastern weather. During the summer the lab becomes almost unbearably hot but is used constantly due to time freed up by vacations from school and work.
